Willians e presidente do clube exaltam boa campanha num campeonato tão complicado como o Brasileiro
O título do Brasileirão chegou a estar perto do Flamengo em alguns momentos da competição. Até pelo fato do time não ter se afastado das primeiras posições da tabela em nenhum momento do campeonato. No entanto, o mais disputado Campeonato Brasileiro da era de pontos corridos reservou ao Rubro-negro alguns resultados ruins, a perda do título, mas veio a vaga para a Libertadores.
Por mais que pareça pouco para um clube com a grandeza do Flamengo, disputar a maior competição de futebol das Américas valerá à pena, e muito. Até porque, nas últimas rodadas do Brasileirão, muita gente duvidou da capacidade do Rubro-negro em avançar até a Libertadores.
"Duvidaram que conseguiríamos essa vaga para a Libertadores. Acabamos enganando todo mundo, não é. Mostramos que continuamos tendo um bom time, capaz de conseguir o que quer, seus objetivos", afirmou Willians.
Feliz com o resultado final no Campeonato Brasileiro, a presidente do clube explicou que o planejamento foi cumprido, mesmo sem o título.
"É um sentimento de missão cumprida. Buscamos o título, nunca é fácil no Brasil, e acabamos não conseguindo. Veio a vaga para a Libertadores, que estava em nosso planejamento e até isso é difícil", finalizou Patricia Amorim

It was disappointing to hear the news this week, when our Governor Lincoln Chafee decided to remove the word "Christmas” tree and replace it with the word "holiday” tree
Governor Chafee, for the last 34 years I have been a proud Rhode Islander my family immigrated to America from France in 1977, and in our hearts we always have been grateful to these two great nations for opening their doors to our family. We Portuguese-Americans are 90% Roman Catholic. During the years we lived in France and later America, we have met and established friendships with people from all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and we always respected each other's religious convictions and shared our traditions, inviting each other for our religious and cultural celebrations. That's why we call Rhode Island, a "Melting Pot" a place where immigrants of different cultures, race and religion all come together, merge and mix to form an integrated society. Today in our family we share two faiths, Buddhism and Roman Catholic, and we always share and respect each other faith and convictions.
As a student I learned that "Rhode Island was founded by Roger Williams on freedom of religion-not absence of religion". Today in the name of political correctness we are disrespecting each other's religious freedom and ignoring long held American values and traditions. It's hurtful and an affront to the faith of many citizens.
When I look around, I can see that in a world that is almost morally corrupt and constantly changing, most liberals are banning our traditional and religious symbols that for centuries served as reminders of our history and moral foundation. Today because of political correctness and diversity, we are confusing our sons and daughters and cultural values, faith, truth and traditions are no longer part of their daily lives.
This week again our (Portuguese liberal Media) Portuguese Times, O Jornal failed to inform the Portuguese speaking population about this issue. Our Portuguese-American legislators that are mostly catholic and can be seen in our churches every Sunday have failed to speak up in defense of their faith and values.

The girl was so scared she locked all her doors and windows. She made sure her room was secured. She wasn't sure if it was a joke or for real. She didn't know when he was going to come. The girl was so frightened she decided to sleep with her little sister. The girl dozed off quickly.
Then she heard a knock on the window. The girl slowly walked to the window. It started knocking louder. The girl looked through the windows and saw nothing... just some of the tree branches. The girl went back to bed with her sister. The bed was wet and had a pretty horrid smell. Maybe her sister wet the bed... the girl checked and found blood everywhere. The girl panicked. She didn't know what to do. She ran and hid in the closet in case the killer was there for her. While looking through the cracks of the closet the girl saw a shadow. It was dark, so she couldn't figure out who it was. She started to get more frightened. The shadow crept closer to the closet. The girl closed her eyes as if it was a dream. Then suddenly he opened the closet door and pulled her out.
Her parents found her dead the next morning. She was completely skinned and hanging in her sister's closet. The younger sister was also found skinned and dead.
PART 2...
Two years after the Smith sisters deaths, the parents had a baby boy. The girl's room became a guest room and the little sister's room where the murder took place became the baby's room. The baby grew up to be a successful kid.
One night he was on the computer and received an instant messege.
